Thanks,
I don't like to have to use the Touch Screen. And yet I haven't liked the devices that don't have a Touch Screen. I'm not sure why I am the way I am, but I want a Touch Screen but I want to get around without having to touch the screen. I've said it before, I'll say it again; Android may be just perfect.

Thanks for the follow up chuazy and Paul, I am looking to get either a G1 or some other Android phone that comes out in the new year, though I can't really say I like the idea of a touch screen without a hard qwerty keyboard. The G1 keyboard looks larger than my current eNv from LG and I think that I would probably like it. I've looked at the Blackberry, Treo and other smart phone keyboards before but never found any that I liked until the eNv. I have a buddy with an iPhone but I don't like the soft keyboard on it. Blahhh! Gotta have a good keyboard for me. So I'm hoping that there are a lot of new Android phones coming soon.

Yea, the open OS and bigger touch screen are big selling point to me on top of that I use Google a lot. As for waiting 6 months, I've waited this long for a really good game changing smart phone OS, I suppose that I could wait a while longer. When I get one though, I want to make sure it has a really good qwerty keyboard, stream high quality stereo music and basically be the life organizer that I've been hoping for year would come out. And, well, Android looks to me like it fits the bill for my tall order.

The major difference between them is the G1's big touch screen and open OS. If you can wait 6 to 9 months I'm sure there will be several more Android choices and carriers (at least Sprint, anyway).
