Default IMAP Idle for anything other than Gmail?

I've looked, but I don't find any information. I have 3 email accounts I monitor daily. 1 Gmail, and 2 hosted with GoDaddy through my domains. Gmail is set up for IMAP idle, and my other 2 GoDaddy emails support IMAP, but I would like to get them as they arrive like Gmail. Is there a way to make this happen that I'm not aware of?

I run a web design business, and like to reply to clients right away. I would set the account up to fetch every 5 minutes, but that seems like a real battery drain. When I had my Pre, I had all 3 email accounts set to IMAP idle and it didn't affect my battery that much. Thats all I want!

When adding a new account to the mail account there is an option to do a manual set up and you can choose the protocol. IMAP is an option, I don't have another account to set up to find out what if the client supports IDLE though.
