What do you think of Google's ability to manage os version updates timely versus competitors and the possibility of new features from Google? There has been frustration with os updates going back to the G1, but will this improve or get some kind of cadence? Also, with Google's large resource pool, they have the ability to introduce new types of software solutions. These are two things I am watching closely. What do you think?

I had a Touch Diamond that was ok, but the Droid blows it out of the water. I know, not exactly anything close to apples to apples comparison, but that's what I had on hand. It's been very interesting seeing how the different stalwarts have responded, not only to the Android devices, but all the devices in general.

When shopping for a smartphone on vzw I had looked at the WinMo phones but didnt like them from my experience with them. A few friends have had them and they were always complaining about how unusable they were. I then checked the android phones but vzw had none. I eventually fell upon the blackberry tour... that was a mistake I think. Net is slow, bug after bug with simple features and a radio that cant seem to keep service. Great phone. My first and maybe my only blackberry.

WinMo users seem to deal with the most lag out of all smartphone users. I know my friend's HTC Wing was terrible at switching when the kb was slid out.

Bout the only thing I like about my phone right now is the keyboard. It is awesome.

If you did leave Windows Mobile for Android, how come? What attracted you to Android?
I was using the AT&T Fuze (HTC Touch Pro) with multiple different cooked roms. I moved to android due to the obvious usability and support that was and continues to be built upon. I also like the forward-mindedness of it and the android market.

Are the multiple versions of Android causing you any headaches? Or are you just waiting patiently for an upgrade?
I am a little impatient waiting for 2.1 to come to my Droid, but that's just the impatient child in me. I'd probably be a bit more frustrated if i had 1.5 or 1.6.

Which do you prefer? Stock Android, or something like HTC's sense on top of it?
I would probably enjoy sense more provided it did not slow down the performance of the phone.

Do you worry about having all of your information in the Google ecosytem?
I have nothing to hide. Besides, if they screw around with people's personal information, they shoot themselves in the foot.

If you could fix one thing about Android, what would it be?

That's it, folks. Get on it!
1. All the open abilities of android are really attractive. And the wide range of hardware to compliment the software
3. I prefer something on top. Stock android is not as good looking as it could be. Sense, blur, and others are nice.
4. I do think about it sometimes but i'm not really worried...

What's the general consensus now that it appears the HD2 will have multi-touch out of the box?
